We take presentation seriously. Every Race Essence steering wheel is packaged in a custom, reinforced black box with precision-cut protective foam inserts and a branded drawstring dust pouch — delivering a premium unboxing experience.
For maximum protection during transit, this presentation box is then enclosed within a sturdy exterior cardboard shipping box, ensuring the wheel arrives in flawless condition.

Each product page features images of the steering wheel you’ll receive. To choose the correct one, simply compare the shape, button layout, and overall design to your current OEM steering wheel.

All Race Essence steering wheels are sold as core-only, which means the grip surface and structural frame are included — typically featuring upgraded materials such as carbon fiber, Alcantara, or leather.
Airbags, paddle shifters, buttons, wiring harnesses, and decorative trim pieces are not included unless explicitly stated. These components must be transferred from your original OEM steering wheel, which is standard procedure for aftermarket wheel upgrades.
The only exception is if you purchase an optional decorative trim piece — in that case, it will replace your original trim section during installation.
For platforms that offer both manual and automatic transmissions, our steering wheels are produced with paddle cutouts by default — regardless of which transmission you have.
Why? From a manufacturing standpoint, producing separate molds for both manual and automatic variants would significantly increase production costs. Since the overwhelming majority of customers drive automatic models, it wouldn’t be practical to create two separate designs for every platform.
If your car is a manual, the steering wheel may still have paddle cutouts, even if your OEM wheel does not. These cutouts are typically small, discreet, and positioned on the rear side of the wheel — not visible from the front and rarely noticed once installed.
We do not offer paddle-delete options unless a platform never had an automatic version to begin with (e.g., Honda S2000). Please keep this in mind when ordering, as returns will not be accepted for dissatisfaction related to paddle cutouts on manual vehicles.

Our LED shift light steering wheels come with two key components:
The system connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, allowing real-time ECU data — such as RPM, shift points, and other performance metrics — to be displayed on the steering wheel.
To power the LED functionality, a stable 12V power and ground source must be tapped from your vehicle. In some vehicles, this may require running wiring through the clock spring, especially if no reliable power source exists within the factory steering harness.
Because every vehicle differs, the wiring and installation process is unique to each application. For this reason, professional installation is strongly required. We do not recommend attempting this as a DIY install unless you’re highly experienced with automotive electronics and diagnostics.
Please note: LED steering wheels are non-refundable and non-returnable, due to the complexity of installation and risk of improper handling. Before ordering, ensure your installer is confident in working with custom steering wheel electronics and has experience locating proper power sources.
